Rixx Javix started playing Eve Online on September 21, 2008.
The name "Rixx Javix" is based on the capital of Iceland - Reykjavik and Rixx Javix is a play on that cities name.
Since the beginning I have been mainly focused on PvP, primarily in hot bed regions of zero and low-sec space. I've tried starting and running two Corporations, I've watched three others destroy themselves and I've become somewhat famous for being a part of failscade Alliances (LFA, PXF, Dogs of War, Undivided, Primary, The Spire, Circle of Two). I've moved and lived in Insmother, Verge, Scalding Pass, Providence, The Spire, Impass, Syndicate, to name just a few. I've traveled all over New Eden on roams, Wormhole ops, and solitary cloaky grief trips. I've fought SOV battles and have been in several of the biggest ones in history, including one of the largest, the battle of D-GTMI in Providence in January 2010. I have managed to build a respectable killboard, although numbers are not why I play the game.
As a Director in Dissonance I helped found the Black-Mark Alliance in Syndicate. During that time I re-started Lucifer's Hammer and began building a strong PvP Corporation. While BLM wanted to grow into a Sov Holding Alliance, I had no interest in that path at the time. So Lucifer's Hammer spun off on our own and joined Rote Kappelle and then Muppet Ninjas. We then decided to control our own destiny and form the Burn Away Alliance. For nine months LUCRH had a great run, collecting over 3,300 kills to less than 600 losses. But leadership betrayals, defections and Incarna Summer blahs, led to the decision to close the Alliance in October of 2011.
Leading LUCRH and Burn Away during that time was a great experience and I would like to thank everyone that was involved in its success. I made a lot of good friends during that time that I hope will last into the future. Some of those friends were the pilots in The Tuskers, whom I often flew with and against. There was little choice to be made when leaving LUCRH, but to join The Tuskers and continue the fight in low security space.
I play Eve mostly for the heart-pounding adrenaline rush of player vs player combat, something that I've experienced with no other game. My philosophy in-game is simple, try to be the best pilot that I can be, both in a ship and out.
In real life I've been a professional artist, designer, writer, video editor, special effects artist, brand builder, and more, for over 25 years. It wasn't long before I started to turn those abilities to the Eve universe. Early in 2009 I assumed the self-appointed title of LFA Minister of Propaganda and began designing and posting original pieces on the LFA forums. I did this for fun, as a hobby. Something different to break up the regular work I do. I began building a portfolio of those pieces on Flickr, and then DeviantArt and now here in the pages of EVEOGANDA.
EVEOGANDA is intended as my creative outlet for the life of Rixx Javix in-game. I hope that the blog will be entertaining, insightful, informative and something that becomes a regular read for as many as will enjoy it. I am not writing it to win any popularity contests, I write mainly for myself and only hope that others also enjoy what I do.
Rixx is also the sometimes organizer of the DEATH RACE! Our first race was extremely successful and fun, with over 2 BILLION ISK in prizes given away.
He is also is a contributor to EON MAGAZINE.
PS: I am sometimes available for an extremely limited number of creative commissions as well. Signatures, blog banners, logos, killboard banners, all done for in-game isk. Take a moment to read the ART COMMISSIONS link at the top of the blog. If you are interested in having me work on something, email me at rixxjavix@gmail.com
Ana is rapidly becoming a powerful character in her own right and operates the Archon like a station wagon of death!
In-game Ana is the wife of Rixx, enjoys table tennis, writing nasty emails to her husband and raising their two children - Leroy and Ester.
