The screenshot above is from the 2021 FF4A and that is my Nag getting swarmed by hundreds and hundreds of angry frigates.
What will happen this Saturday? Only one way to find out and that is to grab your friends and meet us in Ouelletta between 16:00 and 22:00. Which is as easy as anything gets in Eve Online. So that's fine Rixx, but how does this thing actually work? Well, I'm glad you asked.
There are three NPC stations in Ouelletta and each one is jammed packed with thousands of fully fitted frigates and destroyers that are ready to be handed out. All you have to do is dock up and a friendly neighborhood ABA member will trade you one or two or three ships for you to use. Then, and here is the important part, you undock in those ships and have a ton of fun. There will be mobile depots all over the system you can use as warp to points to help you get off station and engaged in space. And along the way special ships will be undocking to keep us all entertained.
To keep things moving we will be using local to help point pilots towards the most interesting bits, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled on local chat. If anyone is dumb enough to show up and try to bork the proceedings we'll just point several hundreds of frigates at the problem until it explodes. Easy. It is amazing what several hundred angry frigates can do when they want to.
The whole entire point of this event is to have fun, enjoy some risk-free PvP and introduce pilots to the wonders of frigate combat. If you've never engaged in combat before, this event is for you. Or if you are a hardened veteran PvPer, this event is for you. In fact, one could say, this event is for everyone. Get out of your comfort zone for one day and drag yourself into Ouelletta for something that only happens once a year! You won't regret it.
There is nothing else like it anywhere. It is insane. It is unpredictable. It is a lot of fun. And it is happening this Saturday.
All we ask in return is the following:
• Please no podding. This isn't because we are against podding normally, but we would like everyone to be able to grab another ship and re-join the event as soon as possible.
• No Station Camping. Feel free to do whatever you want out in space, but let's keep the stations clear. Trust me, you'll get plenty of killmails, you don't need to be a dick about it.
And yes, I am fully aware that some people won't do these things - but I have to ask. I'm also fully aware that some people will get themselves exploded because of it. So there.
Oh man, this is going to be nuts. I hope to see you in space.
