Five months into my Eve career. This was taken in PI-5 down in Providence, apparently I went thru a phase where all my ships ( the handfull I had ) were named "lizard". I don't remember that. How about that fitting window?

Hmmm, let's see what I can find in the archives.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see screenshots of the old hangars, I feel like they have so much more character than the new ones. Obviously the texture quality is much better now, but the old ones seem like they are more real somehow.
ReplyDeleteFunny you say that, I was flipping thru old screenshots this morning and had that same type of feeling. It doesn't seem to be based on any actual facts, obviously things look so much better today. But there is also something there that is hard to quantify. Odd.
DeleteMaybe nostalgia? I find it to be quite powerful when remembering the olden days like this.
DeleteI'd have to search around for it, but I saw a screenshot from an old Gallente Pleasure hub, and it wasn't just a ship in a hangar, there was some neon signs at stuff going on there, which just gave it more flavor.

DeleteHoly cow, that was still around in 2009... I remember that from when EVE started in 2003. Funny how nostalgia is... man I do miss that station environment :(.
