Happy Thanksgiving

Here in the States tomorrow is Thanksgiving. A strange and weird holiday when we gather around family and friends, eat way to much food, watch American Football and generally sit around wishing we hadn't eaten so much goddamn food. This all stems from a tradition that stretches back to a brief day or two when white people managed to get along with people of other races for a second. Like those doods in the drawing up there.

Yeah, that didn't last. And neither will that horribly bloated feeling I'll have tomorrow after eating way to much of my Mom's amazing cooking. Because yes, even I will be traveling to visit my parents tomorrow and partaking of the prepared feast, watching American Football and driving about nine hours in total to do so. We are nutty.

The best thing about Thanksgiving is giving thanks to all those things we have to be grateful for. I've never really understood why we needed to set aside a single day for this gratefulness since I happen to appreciate my few blessings each and every day - but who am I to argue with tradition?

Every year I write the same thing here on the blog. So here we go again. I am extremely grateful for the amazing and wonderful Eve Community and all those that call themselves members. Thank you for coming to visit this blog and for making it a great place to spend time each and every day, I sincerely appreciate each of you. Even the wankers. And I am thankful for every single member of Stay Frosty and A Band Apart for being awesome and for hanging out with us every day in-game. I'm also thankful for all the other players, without you we'd have no one to shoot at.

And this year especially I'd like to give special thanks to CCP for revitalizing Eve over the past two years, but especially during 2014. Thank you to each of you for doing such an amazing job and never giving up on us wacky Eve players and fans. I wish I could call you all out by name, but I'd be afraid I'd miss someone and I wouldn't want to do that.

Despite the hardships, despite the challenges, despite everything - I personally feel like I am on the verge of new beginnings this Holiday. Both in my own personal life and in my relationship to Eve. The darkness feels like it is receding into the rear view mirror and better things are on the horizon. And a big part of that is because of you reading this now. Even if you don't realize it.

So thanks.

Needless to say I won't be posting again until this weekend. So wherever you go in the next few days and whatever you do, fly safe. And always remember to, Keep the Courage.
