After Hours Podcast Episode 1: Sneak Peek

I was talking to Adarics over at Evil at Work earlier today about the news, podcast and media site they are building. Its going to be pretty awesome and will feature podcasts from around the gaming community, not just Eve Online. I had been editing my recent conversation with CCP Fozzie from Thursday and realized that a lot of what we had discussed was extremely topical and timely. It was then that we thought, we should probably get this up and running ahead of the site launch! Sort of a "sneak peek" if you will. Thanks to Adarics for making it happen today.

So here is After Hours with Rixx Javix Episode One for your listening pleasure. I hope Jonny Pew will forgive me for putting Fozzie ahead of him on the schedule, I have a feeling he won't mind given the subject matter. Fozzie and I talk about a lot of things, but I believe you'll all find the discussion interesting. The future of on-grid links is especially enlightening.

Love it Rixx, the tone of the whole thing was great, full of insight into eve and lively discussion and appreciation - in particular there is a moment when it sounds as though Fozzy is being offered a drink and you can hear a bottle being opened - was that my imagination? If not it was very evocative, you can almost hear the waiter in a louche scifi version of the Cotton Club. Cheers

There is a lot of subtle ambience in the background track, audience noise, and other things, so that may be what you picked up on. Still a work in progress of course, but I like the general direction. Thanks.

Hi Rixx, I was listening to the podcast and got about 10 minutes in, I got disconnected from the web and when I got back in I could not jump into the podcast from 10 minutes, I would have had to listen from the beginning again, is that correct?

You should be able to scroll forward and start from anywhere.

I was shocked to hear that fozzie has been at CCP for 3 years. It seems like only yesterday,he was "just" an extremely enthusiastic commentator of the Alliance Tourney !

tried again, still not working. When you double click or single click anywhere in the progress bar it just bounces back to the beginning. I am viewing this in Chrome 47.0.2526.106 m
