Had this idea in my head this morning and here it is. I hope you enjoy it. This is more "digital composition" than "digital illustration", although there are illustrative elements within the composition. I leave the labeling to those that care about such things, because I don't. I create what I see in my head and use the tools at hand to achieve the result I want. And that looks a lot like what I saw in my brain cinema this morning.

However, given the vast and varied tools we have available to us today as artists, the lines between those things are extremely blurred. This is why I don't tend to get hung up on labels myself. That wallpaper above contains elements pulled from T-amber's Jeremy tool, as well as other elements pulled from other sources. But I also "illustrated" some of it as well digitally. I also spent a lot of time with the lighting and effects. So it is, in my opinion, a pretty typical Rixx Javix multi-media piece of art.
I like the term multi-media, it means I get to use everything. :)
I don't consider what you've done (for this piece) as multi-media, as it all seems visual to me. Now if it had sound, or was in some way tactile, I'd go for multimedia.
If I had to apply a label, I'd go for "digital visual art" :)
But then, I am quite uninformed to things artistic. I just like what I see. Oh, btw, I do like - and have already set this as my wallpaper
