Fly with Stay Frosty

The single thing I am most proud of in my 13+ years of playing Eve Online is my Corporation Stay Frosty and the pilots that have, are, and continue to fly with us. Stay Frosty has been yarrring in Low Sec (and points beyond) for 8.5 years now and hundreds of pilots have called it home over those years. ANNOUNCING: The 9th Annual Frigate Free 4 All

On Saturday March 11th between the Eve times of 16:00 and 22:00 Stay Frosty and A Band Apart will be hosting our 9th Annual Frigate Free 4 All event in Ouelletta! Last year's event broke all the records we set the year before and we anticipate this year's event will be even bigger and break last year's records. With well over 10,000 fully fitted frigates on hand to be handed out and lots of special events planned, this year will rock and YOU are invited. This day is for anyone to attend, no matter your skill level or what you do in-game, come to Ouelletta, dock up, and grab a ship. Experience the thrill of frigate PvP and register that first kill in space. Or jump onto a Capital kill for the first time! Or simply perfect your skill and watch those zKill stats rocket! Whatever reason, this will be the place to be. So how does this work? Ouelletta has three NPC stations and each one is going to be cram packed with thousands of frigates and destroyers already fitted for you

Tomorrow! In Ouelletta from 16:00 to 22:00, six hours of insanity. It only happens once a year and tomorrow is the day, so be sure to pop into a clean clone - head to Ouelletta and dock up in an NPC station and you will be traded ship(s). It is really that easy. That is all there is to it. We have prepared slightly over 15,000 fully fitted frigates and destroyers that anyone should be able to fly and will be handing them out like madmen for six hours or until we run out. You don't have to do anything except show up and have fun undocking and shooting stuff for fun. Along the way there will be CCP Devs in space to shoot at. Special targets will be in local to try and explode - in previous years we've had Marshals, Thanatos', Redeemers, Orcas, and more show up in local to be sacrificed - so who knows what might happen this year. FF4A: Aftermath

The 9th Annual FF4A is in the record books. The wrecks are being salvaged, drones collected, transport ships full of stolen frigates are being exploded, and the dust has settled. And while we haven't gotten official word or results from CCP yet - I am going to claim a victory for this year's event. Somewhere around 13,000 total ship explosions, somewhere around 10,000 ships handed out in six hours, and somewhere around 3,500 total participants over those six hours. Wow. As we expected this year's event was not the record breaker that last year's event turned out to be. And while we are 100% pleased with the results, several factors went into limiting the turnout to this year's event. Mostly that boils down to bad-timing with several alliances involved in on-going Null Sec Wars. Last year we had a healthy number of participants from alliances that are now deeply involved with fighting in Null Sec. And, obviously, they were unable to attend in significant numbers. T

Two Weeks!

Two weeks from tomorrow is the 9th Annual Frigate Free 4 All in Ouelletta. You should start seeing the billboard ad for it up and running in your local stations and gates, we got confirmation in the patch notes this week about it being added to the game: So that's awesome! HYPE! This event is going to be nuts and if you've never experienced it you really need to show up and see what all the fuss is about yourself. There is nothing else like it in all of Eve and for six hours on March 11th space will be simply insane. Hundreds and hundreds of pilots in local, special events, gangs, chaos, CCP Devs in space actually engaging in combat (!!), and more stuff we can't even predict. We have prepared 15,000 or so fully fitted frigates and destroyers to hand out and our team will be hard at work in each station sliding those trades non-stop the entire time.
