Sisters of Eve Poster

There are so many things to say right now that I don't even know where to start. So, instead, I'm just going to let this one hang here on the site without much comment. At least for now. The creation process is an exhausting one.

I hope you enjoy the new piece. The original is 27x40 Movie Poster size btw. The image on Flickr is a low res version.

Enjoy!

I really like the animated (if that's the right word here) style. Very cool.

lools great - I am very quickly realizing that easy access to a wide format colour printer is something I'm going to miss very, very much
Are you still using Project Jeremy for this stuff? Sometimes I play that more than I play EVE... (great work by the way)

Not really tbh, it is getting increasingly behind the times. I still use it for reference sometimes, as well as in-game screen captures and whatnots. But these ships were all hand drawn, scanned in, and then re-drawn in illustrator. Which is how I always do my "real" arts, just that this is a completely different technique I've been working on.

It certainly has some Anime heritage, I'm still developing the style for myself, but I'm really liking the direction. It incorporates a lot of the things that I've been doing over the years in trying to develop my own unique style. It's a process that never ends, but at least for now, I'm really happy about the direction.

Uprinting (which I've used before) will print a 27x40" poster for only $30. I'm getting one made for my studio. All you need is a print-quality PDF file.

Yeah, but having a 36" colour plotter on the office network and plotting for free is so much better . . .

I am finding out that retirement DOES have a few downsides. . .
