Months ago Just asked us to create a compelling Campfire Tale telling the story of our "Best Eve Online Story" to share with the community this week. Here is my entry, which is a re-telling of an incident that happened a very, very long time ago - back in the early days of my Eve career. Back then I was a young player living down in Providence and trying to learn this insanely complicated game, train my skills, and learn from those around me. Even then I was trying anything I could to stay engaged, try new things, and push the limits on what I could get away with.
I'm not sure this is my "best" Eve Online story. I have so many. But it is certainly one of them. In fact it is actually several stories smashed into one tale, the details of which have faded with time. This was nearly two decades ago now. But I hope you enjoy it and I'm planning on bringing more of these tales to life in the future. I need to start putting them down before they are forgotten to the mists of time.
