Yesterday, in honor of the Catalyst expansion, I released this actual Catalyst Navy Issue illustration over on my Etsy store. It joins the other three illustrations in the series:
And yes I still need to finish the Cormorant Navy Issue version. You might be wondering why there is a Griffin Navy Issue in this series? The reason is because the Griffin was the first one I drew and then set aside and forgot about it. I drew it originally to try out a new technique and wanted to see if it would work. I'm always trying new things and sometimes they work and sometimes they do not work. But even in failure I learn new things. But I really liked how well the Griffin turned out and then I decided why not turn that into a series featuring the Empire Faction Destroyers.
The Cormorant is sitting on my hard drive about 15% completed, so hopefully some day soon I will have time to finally finish it and get the series finished.
Anyway, the Catalyst is finished.
