Frozen in Space

Winter Nexus is here and the Holidays are fast approaching. A good friend of mine decided to quit playing and biomass his character, leaving his assets and fortune to Stay Frosty. And I've been extremely busy trying to find employment and avoid becoming homeless. All in all, it has been an exciting and stressful time. Which is why I haven't been posting as much lately.

Looking for employment is a real mess these days. I hope if you are reading these words that you are gainfully employed, and if you are, you consider staying that way. It is not fun out here. People will literally look you straight in the face and lie to you. Ghost you. And not follow through on what they promised. It's insane. The other day I had someone reach out to me about a position and ask for times I could be available for an interview. Great right? Except they have never responded again. This is not some weird on-line thing either, this company is real and located about 35 minutes from my house. Crazy. This is not an isolated incident either.

But enough about depressing real life.

My friend Saint Michaels Soul decided to biomass yesterday. That news hit me hard. Of course I understand, and no one is expected to play Eve Online forever. Real life always comes first. But still, it is always a bit of a shock when it happens. At least he told us and made plans to donate his assets to the Corporation. Sometimes people just vanish. And that is the worst.

Saint is one of the best blaster Comet pilots to ever grace the space lanes and often scored kills with that thing that were extremely impressive. I started gravitating towards the rail version because he was flying the blaster version. Out of respect. So he will be sorely missed. But we'll stay in touch outside the game and life goes on. I wish him and his wonderful family only the best.

Other than that, I have work that I need to get back to.

More later,
