When I remember 2025 I'll remember this was the year we delivered on our promise and got War For New Eden into our supporter's hands. A promise made almost three years ago and one that some in our community doubted, but that many, many more decided to help support. I never took that promise lightly and I know the good people at Titan Forge didn't either. So that is a huge part of what this year meant to me.
You've probably noticed I've been taking some personal time the past few weeks. I haven't been posting here or on social as much as I usually do. Nothing weird, just normal end of year, holiday, busy time life and needing to focus on other things. Plus I discovered Suno and have been going nuts bringing some old songs to life and writing some new ones. Just for fun. As well as jumping online and blowing up ships. Although even over the holidays I've had to put our regular Saturday roams on hold until the beginning of January - just too much to do and deal with this time of year. For everyone, not just me.
Our Frigate Free For All was a huge success earlier this year, and yes we will be planning another one here soon. I haven't been able to put a stake in the ground on a date yet, simply due to on-going uncertainty around my work and what I'll be doing going forward. Jumping out of my career to help create a board game for the past three years has meant getting back into it has been a challenge, especially with the world being the way it is right now. But I've had a ton of interviews lately and hopefully something new is just around the corner.
I want to wish you all Happy New Year and I look forward to even more adventures in 2026. Hopefully we'll be headed to Fanfest again this year, but right now that is not a sure thing. We'll see. But I can still see you around the neighborhood and in-game.
Cheers and all the best for a great year.
