Next Tuesday, February 10th, will premier a brand new podcast from myself and CrazyKinux called "The Safe Spot". We're going to aim for this to be a bi-weekly show that will be available exclusively over on my YouTube channel, so get over there and be sure to Subscribe so you don't miss any of the episodes! We're starting out small and intimate, and we'll see where this leads us. Who knows? Do people even like podcasts anymore?
You can visit Crazy's site at the link up there to learn more about why he's doing it, so I'll focus here on why I am. I've been thinking about starting up a new podcast for months now. But it was always something on the back-burner and never really popped up into my always busy priority list. Until awhile back Mr. Kinux messaged me and we started talking about potential projects we might do together. I"ve known Crazy the same amount of time I've been playing Eve Online - so almost twenty years now. I started reading his blog right when I started playing Eve. And he inspired me, along with others, to start this blog back in the day. And while he had stopped playing Eve years ago (Boo!) we had managed to stay in touch.
But now that he is back and active again, talking together about our mutual histories and love for this insane game seemed only natural. So "The Safe Spot" was born. Like I mentioned earlier, we are taking it one step at a time and we have no grand plan or scheme when it comes to this project. Right now it is just two Eve players talking and we're going to leave ourselves open to where it all might lead us. Will we have guests at some point? Possibly. We'll see what happens.
I'm excited about it and I love talking about Eve, as most of you know. So what could go wrong?
I hope you will join us and help support the podcast. But most of all, I hope you enjoy two old farts sitting around spinning stories, giving advice, and trying to help other players enjoy this crazy game and community.
