Fanfest Reaction

I was out yesterday visiting my Father and enjoying a beautiful drive through the mountains of West Virginia with one of my sons, so I missed the release of the latest episode of The Safe Spot. My 82 year old Father doesn't truly understand what the hell his Son is doing with his life, but he did want me to wish all of you his best. And I mostly joke, my Father pretty much supports whatever crazy ideas I have because they always tend to work out. But Eve Online is just a foreign concept to him. As I suspect it would be to most people his age.

CrazyKinux and I sat down Sunday night to put down our immediate reactions to the recently completed Fanfest in Iceland. I don't have much to add here, I think we covered everything in the Podcast. I will add that so much of what was announced are things that will just have to be seen, experienced, and judged over time. Cradle of War is the first of a planned three-stage release schedule, so much more will be coming. And Exordium is another piece of the stage that will have to be judged based on how it performs over time. Not much here is going to have an immediate, space-shattering impact - but it all could potentially be ground-breaking in the long run. So we'll just have to wait and see how everything unfolds.

So enjoy the new pod and I will see you around.
