During Fanfest 2025 Titan-Forge announced plans for a follow-up "Dice Game" to the War For New Eden board game and brought along several conceptual versions for players attending Fanfest to try out and play. I was there during that Fanfest and watched players giving the new game a go. I had just finished work on the box art not long before Fanfest and was very anxious to see the reaction. Especially with the board game finally being done and shipping to everyone around the world.
Obviously I missed Fanfest this year. But once again Eve Squadrons was there along with Titan-Forge and while I'm not entirely sure of all the details (having not been there), I do know the game is moving forward. Because I'm once again working on it. Unlike last time I don't have to be quite as secretive about the project, since it has been around for well over a year now and two Fanfests.
My work on this project is more limited than it was during the board game development. In addition to the already completed box art above, I'll be doing some new spaceship art for the game. Which probably means some new spaceship models will be coming along with this one. I'm not privy to all the plans but I believe we'll be looking at a Q1 2027 launch.
Anyway, I'll share more news and updates when I can. Until then, I'm once again hard at work.
