I have gone through and replaced the thumbnails for all 15 episodes of Pirates Corner today.
I did this because I wrote a post about my stance on AI over on my YouTube channel and then someone commented about the Pirates Corner thumbnails - and they weren't wrong. So I designed a new template featuring a piece of original art I did for Fanfest a few years ago and I went back through the entire library and made a new thumbnail for them all.
It seems to be taking YouTube some time to update all of them, but they should be updating over the next day or so. I did this, not because one person called me out on it, but being called out on it certainly helped. I'm only human and I make mistakes, but I'm always willing to own up to them and try to change when I'm wrong. And while I will continue to use some AI elements when I have to, like in the case of the PvP Chat series thumbnail. It remains a last resort for me.
In that spirit I am also working on replacing the channel header and avatar as well. But give me some time on those, I'm really busy right now with Eve Squadron illustrations and I want it to be something good and not rushed. That image of Rixx in armor was sent to me by a friend months ago and I liked it. But to be honest it probably isn't the best image to use to represent my channel.
