Wild Banshee Indians

Whenever my brother and I would run around like crazy people, our Mother would say, "You two are like a pack of wild banshee Indians." The Internets say, "A banshee Indian is an Indian mythical female spirit whose wailing or appearance warns a family that one of them will soon die. Before a death occurs, the Indian banshee will go wailing and clapping hands: if the death is of a holy person, a whole chorus of banshees will wail." Ok fine, I believe everything I read on the Internets. I don't think my Mom seriously thought my brother and I were harbingers of death, at least I hope not. I suspect what she was on about was the sounds we were probably making. When you are a kid these sounds are normal, but when you grow up and have children of your own - well then you know exactly what kind of Hell your own parents lived through. The 11th Annual Frigate Free For All

For the 11th year in a row, Stay Frosty and A Band Apart will be hosting our annual Frigate Free For All - this time in a new location - Amamake! That's right, we'll be traveling this year to bring the largest player hosted event in all of New Eden to new shores, new players, and a new location. This will mark my 15th annual event that started way back in 2010 with the first DeathRace through Providence. I ended up hosting three DeathRace events and several FFAs while in other organizations - so that is why this is the 11th annual version under the SF/ABA banner. As always we will have thousands of FREE Frigates and Destroyers to hand out during the event - as well as lots of very special ships undocking during the six hours. Who knows what else might happen? Eve Catch-22

Often, on our roams, we will encounter players in local who hurl intended insults at us. These can vary widely, but often use our chosen play-style against us in one way or another. In the context of local chat this is a very common choice for players in space. This is the place to do such things, in the context of the game itself. We often parlay back. Many times these exchanges can be hilarious. Even rarely rising to the level of share-worthy or screenshot worthy. This is part of Eve Online. Vak'Atioth | A Documentary Short

My latest documentary short is now available on my YouTube channel , this one is about the legendary battle of Vak'Atioth that pitted the Amarr going up against the vaunted Jovians. Be sure to check it out and like and subscribe so that I can continue to bring you these videos. Always appreciated. This one involved some trickery, since there are no real models or methods to bring Jovian ships back to life. I even asked T'Amber is he happened to still have them and, while you can pull some of the texture maps from the old ships, however the magic happens to turn those into real usable models - eludes me. So I had to make due with After Effects and building a couple of "re-enactment" scenes myself. I could have just ignored them, but that didn't seem right. Anyway, that's going to be the last video for this year. But I have other ideas for more videos in the works already and this is going to continue to be a focus of mine for the future.
