The Venture | Documentary

I enjoyed making the Ouelletta Documentary so much I decided to create another one - this time on The Venture. I wanted to highlight this little ship and its other versions. They are everywhere and I think they often get ignored and overlooked by larger and more impressive spaceships. But the lowly Venture serves an important and vital role in the ecosystem of New Eden and it is worth celebrating. And while I want to keep these films fun and light-hearted, I also do not want them to become sarcastic or hurtful in any way. The tone is something that I worked hard on.

You might believe that is a tad hypocritical of someone who has personally exploded nearly 700 of these little ships - but just because I explode them, doesn't mean I don't appreciate them. Quite the opposite actually. For every one of them that I catch, three of them manage to escape or allude capture. Maybe more. And often I will spend time giving advice to pilots who are open to it. It is all part of the game we play.

I will say this however, every Venture in this film is no longer with us. Except for the one in warp, obviously I haven't figured out how to follow ships in warp yet. So that one is being flown by me late one night. As are the Endurance and Prospect. I couldn't find subjects on demand for those two, so I had to provide them myself. I will tell you this, trying to probe down a gas nebula nearly broke me. I suck at probing and I have literally not used core probes for almost a decade. Serious kudos to all of you that have those skills.

I have other ideas for more of these. But it may be awhile before I get around to making more. We'll see. In the meantime, be sure to like and subscribe if you'd like to see more content like this on my channel. Your support really does matter.
