Universal Landmark Series | Golgothan Fields

Today I am proud to release another in my Universal Geographic Landmark Series - Golgothan Fields. This series has previously taken a look at B-R, Molea, Seyllin, and Steve. Of course this doesn't account for the regular Universal Geographic docs that have touched on many other subjects and short films like the recently released DAY ZERO that dramatically tells the previously untold story of New Eden's first human visitors from Earth.

I recently offered members of my Eveoganda Discord & my friends over on JUST the opportunity to download the full resolution final version of my recent illustration "Steampunk Marshall" - so now I'm going to extend that opportunity to readers of this blog. You can follow this link to my DropBox and download the full-size version for yourself.

I had no expectation that the piece would turn out so well, or that it would become as popular as it has. This morning I even went so far as to post it over on Reddit - which is something I rarely do these days. As usual it didn't take long for a few trolls to pop up and accuse me of using AI on the piece. Which is weird since I've been sharing progress stages with everyone here on the blog and over on X/BlueSky for the past week or so. But hey, it's me. And nothing seems to get certain people up in arms more than I do for whatever reason.

A year or so ago I made a decision that has greatly impacted my health and mental well-being. I will share that with you all here today. I stopped caring about the trolls. And I made the decision to only engage with them in extreme positivity. Often sugar-coated levels of positivity. Even today, if you check info on my name inside of Eve, you can see my in-game title is one of those tips of the cap to one of my most ardent and dedicated attackers. This approach not only makes my Wife laugh (I always share them with her), but it has also seriously decreased my own stress levels.

With that in mind I have decided that any response to my art along the lines of "It's AI" will be treated as a compliment. I know they aren't intended as one, but what other choice do I have? You cannot prove a negative and I refuse to engage in these vortices of ignorance. There is no winning.

I'll just hang out over here in my corner and keep being awesome.

Even if it annoys someone.
